Abstract: An UHPLC method was developed for the determnation of dyes of citrus red 2 and sudan red in navelorange. The sample was extracted with acetonitrile and cleaned-up by an amino solid phase extraction column. The analyte was separated on a Waters ACQUITY UPLC BEH C18 column by gradient elution using a mobile phase made up of acetonitrile and water,and detected by a photo-diode array detector at the wavelength of 478 nm and 515 nm. The linearity range of 5 dyes was 0.20-20 mg·L-1,with detection limits in the range of 0.31-0.53 μg·kg-1. The recovery rates measured by standard addition method were between 87.8% and 99.4%,with RSD (n=5) were between 0.54% and 3.11%.
