Abstract: A review of recent advances of application of Raman spectroscopy to testimony of judicial documents was presented, relating especially to the topics of recognition of kinds of pigments used in handwriting and stamping, time of formation of documents, kinds of paper used for the documents, and timing of stamping ink and of crossings of strokes. A brief prospect on the future progress in this field was also given (64 ref. cited).
