Abstract: A review on recent progress of researches on the principles and methods of electrochemical analysis of persistent organic pollutants, both the types of direct and indirect amperometry (including electrochemical enzyme sensors, electrochemical immunoassay sensors and DNA electrochemical sensors), was presented. A brief prospect on this field was also given (53 ref. cited).
