Abstract: The progress of methods for inspection of atrazine in environmental samples in the years from 2011 to 2015 was reviewed, including methods of separation such as liquid-liquid extraction, solid-phase extraction, solid-phase microextraction, liquid-phase microextraction, ultrasonic-assisted extraction and microwave-assisted extraction, and analytical methods such as gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS), liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC-MS) and biological methods, as well as the applications of these methods. Prospects on the development of analytical methods for atrazine were also given (46 ref. cited).
