Abstract: A review of research progress on determination methods and speciation analysis of cadmium in ecological geochemistry evaluation samples in recent 10 years at home and aboard was presented, relating especially the topics on the sample pretreatment methods,various methods used for cadmium determination and the speciation analysis of cadmium, as well as the extraction methods of various species of cadmium individually from soil samples. Prospects for the future progress of the related problems mentioned above was given (42 ref.cited).
