Abstract: A review on research advances of the structure, toxicological properties and metabolic process in vivo of common cathinones and inspection methods (i.e., GC-MS, LC-MS and so on) of cathinones in biological samples was presented. A brief prospect on the trends of inspection methods of cathinones was also given (36 ref. cited).
