Abstract: From the aspects of matrix pyrolysis mechanism, influencing factors, interpretation of test data and database establishment, a review on the research progress of matrix interference in the identification of ignitable liquid debris on fire site was presented. Prospects for development in this field were also given (45 ref. cited).
