Abstract: Considering that there have been few reviews on the determination methods of synthetic cathinones new psychoactive substances since 2010, the classification and pharmacological effects of synthetic cathinones new psychoactive substances were briefly introduced, and the application of chemical analysis, immunological detection, spectral analysis, nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy, capillary electrophoresis, liquid chromatography, gas chromatography-mass spectrometry, liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry and real-time direct analysis mass spectrometry in the detection of this kind of drugs was discussed. The development of related determination methods was prospected (57 ref. cited).
