Abstract: X-ray fluorescence spectrometry (XRF) has experienced more than 60 years of development in China since 1960, and the amount of relevant literatures has passed 10 000, among which the review literatures are one of the most convenient tools for readers to understand the status quo and development trend of XRF analysis in China. A total of 181 XRF review literatures published from 1960 to 2020 were collected, and classified and evaluated according to comprehensive review, annual review and special review. The influential literatures among them were further described (184 ref. cited).
