    波长色散X射线荧光光谱法测定天然橡胶中硫的含量

    Determination of Sulfur in Natural Rubber by Wavelength Dispersive X-Ray Fluorescence Spectrometry

    • 摘要: 针对现有的橡胶中硫含量检测方法过程复杂且耗时较长,以及目前市面暂无天然橡胶基体的在售有证标准物质的问题,以硫磺、氧化锌、硬脂酸、硫化促进剂N-叔丁基-2-苯并噻唑次磺酰胺(TBBS)和生胶为原料,通过人工配料、混炼和硫化压片制备了不同硫含量梯度的天然橡胶基体的人工参考样品,采用波长色散X射线荧光光谱法对天然橡胶中的硫含量进行测定,绘制校准曲线。结果表明,在参考样品制备过程中,混炼12 min有助于硫元素的均匀分散。当停放温度为25 ℃、停放时间为48 h时,硫元素的分散性最好,参考样品的均匀性最佳。硫的质量分数在1.0%~4.0%内与对应的荧光强度呈线性关系,方法的检出限为0.006%(质量分数)。方法用于平行测定质控样品10次,所得测定平均值与理论值基本一致,相对标准偏差小于2.0%。与国家标准GB/T 41946—2022离子色谱法进行方法比对,两种方法的测定结果基本一致。

       

      Abstract: In response to the complex and time-consuming process of existing methods for determination of sulfur in rubber, as well as the lack of certified reference materials for natural rubber matrices currently available on the market, artificial reference samples of natural rubber matrices with different sulfur content gradients were prepared using sulfur, zinc oxide, stearic acid, vulcanization accelerator N-tert-butyl-2-benzothiazole sulfonamide (TBBS), and crude rubber as raw materials through artificial batching, mixing, and vulcanization pressing. Wavelength dispersive X-ray fluorescence spectrometry was used for determination of sulfur in natural rubber to draw the calibration curve. As shown by the results, mixing for 12 min during the preparation of the reference samples helped to achieve uniform dispersion of sulfur element. The dispersion of sulfur element and the uniformity of the reference samples were the best when settling at 25 ℃ for 48 h. Linear relationship between the corresponding fluorescence intensity and mass fraction of sulfur was found in the range of 1.0%—4.0%, with detection limit of the method of 0.006% (mass fraction). This method was used to determine quality control samples 10 times in parallel, and the average value obtained was basically consistent with the theoretical value, with RSDs less than 2.0%. Compared with ion chromatography method of the national standard GB/T 41946—2022, the results of the two methods were basically consistent.
