    一次性活性炭管吸附-二次热解吸-气相色谱-质谱法测定22种挥发性有机化合物的含量

    Determination of 22 Volatile Organic Compounds by Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry with Disposable Activated Carbon Tube Adsorption and Secondary Thermal Desorption

    • 摘要: 分析空气中挥发性有机化合物(VOCs)时,前处理方法Tenax TA管吸附-二次热解吸存在Tenax TA管老化时间长和其吸附性能会随循环吸附次数增加而下降等缺点,活性炭管吸附-溶剂解吸存在二硫化碳毒性较大等缺点,因此进行了题示研究。在采样管中依次填充硅烷化玻璃棉、200 mg活性炭、硅烷化玻璃棉、惰性化金属滤网制备活性炭采样管。在老化后的自制活性炭采样管中注入22种VOCs混合标准溶液制备标准采样管系列,并与二次热解吸仪连接,采用气相色谱-质谱法测定。结果显示:自制活性炭采样管对碳原子数不大于7的VOCs的吸附偏好性较强;老化后活性炭采样管中杂质响应较弱,对22种目标VOCs测定无干扰;同时活性炭价格低廉且易得,可作为一次性填料,满足即时测试的需求。22种VOCs的质量在一定范围内和峰面积呈线性关系,检出限(3S/N)为0.03~0.22 ng;重复分析含150,450 ng VOCs的标准采样管6次,目标VOCs的回收率分别为86.1%~103%和97.7%~107%,测定值的相对标准偏差(n=6)分别为0.74%~4.5%和0.42%~4.7%。

       

      Abstract: When analyzing volatile organic compounds (VOCs) in the air, the pre-treatment method of Tenax TA tube adsorption-secondary thermal desorption has disadvantages such as long aging time of Tenax TA tube and adsorption performance decreasing with increasing cycle adsorption times. The pre-treatment method of activated carbon tube adsorption-solvent desorption has disadvantages such as high toxicity of carbon disulfide. Therefore, the study mentioned by the title was conducted. The sampling tube was filled with silanized glass wool, 200 mg of activated carbon, silanized glass wool, and inert metal filter in sequence to prepare the activated carbon sampling tube. A mixture of 22 VOCs standard solutions was injected into the self-made aged activated carbon sampling tube to prepare standard sampling tube series, which were connected with a secondary thermal desorption instrument for determination by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry. It was shown that the self-made activated carbon sampling tube had a strong adsorption preference for VOCs with a carbon atom number of no more than 7. The response of impurities in aged activated carbon sampling tube was weak, which did not interfere with the determination of 22 target VOCs. At the same time, activated carbon was inexpensive and easy to obtain, making it suitable as a disposable filler to meet the needs of immediate testing. Linear relationships of the mass and peak area of 22 VOCs were kept in definite ranges, with detection limits (3S/N) in the range of 0.03‒0.22 ng. The activated carbon standard sampling tubes containing 150, 450 ng of VOCs were repeatedly analyzed 6 times, giving recoveries in the range of 86.1%‒103% and 97.7%‒107%, and RSDs (n=6) of the determined values of target VOCs in the range of 0.74%‒4.5% and 0.42%‒4.7%, respectively.
