    气体甲醛浓度测定方法

    Determination of Concentration of Gaseous Formaldehyde

    • 摘要: 用亚硫酸钠法测定气体甲醛的浓度,讨论了方法的可靠性及测定气体甲醛浓度的主要影响因素,与碘量法测定气体甲醛的浓度进行对比,亚硫酸钠法充分吸收气体甲醛需2 min,吸收率达98.9%,方法的相对标准偏差在3.2%~3.8%之间;碘量法充分吸收气体甲醛需15 min,吸收率达98.4%,方法相对标准偏差在3.6%~4.0%之间,两种方法没有显著性差异.

       

      Abstract: Concentration of formaldehyde in its vapour in the air above formaldehyde reagent in a closed container was determined by absorbing the gaseous formaldehyde in the air sample by a definite amount of Na2SO3 solution,and the excess of Na2SO3 was titrated by standard iodine solution using starch as indicator.Only 2 min was required for quantitative absorption of formaldehyde by Na2SO3,achieving to a absorption rate of 98.9%.RSD′s (n=7) values obtained were in the range of 3.2% to 3.8%.A self-made absorption flask was used in the determination.The results obtained by the Na2SO3 absorption-iodimetric titration were checked with the conventional iodometry method,no significant difference between the results of the two methods were found.
