Abstract: Powdered samples of radix isatidis grown in different areas were identified by the X-ray diffraction Fourier fingerprint technique.Different fingerprints were obtained for samples of radix isatidis obtained from different origins,on the base of which the samples were differentiated and identified.It was shown that the same technique was also feasible to be used for identification of other traditional Chinese medicines.
