Abstract: A review on the recent progress and prospect on spectrophotometric determination of selenium was presented,relating mainly on topics of complex spectrophotometry,redox spectrophotometry,kinetic spectrophotometry,nephelometry,chemometric spectrophotometry,hyphenation techniques,as well as the principles,specific features and drawbacks and determination conditions of the methods,and also their practical applications (67 ref. cited).
