Abstract: Textile sample (4.000 0 g) was treated with simulated sweat (80 mL) to extract free heavy metals (including Pb,Cd,As,Cu,Co,Ni,Cr and Sb) into the solution and their contents determined by the method of ICP-AES under the optimized conditions.Values of detection limit (3S/N) found for the 8 elements by the present method were nearly same as those found by FAAS.Tests for recovery were made by the standard addition method,giving results in the range of 81.6% to 98.2%,with values of RSD′s (n=6) ranged from 1.24% to 8.31%.
