ICP-AES Determination of Carbonate and Bicarbonate in Environmental Water Sample with Sample Introduction in Gaseous State

摘要: 根据水溶液中碳酸钠及碳酸氢钠的盐酸滴定法的基本原理,提出了用气态进样技术的电感耦合等离子体原子发射光谱法测定环境水样中碳酸盐和碳酸氢盐含量的方法.设计并制造了一种使试样溶液与一定量稀盐酸反应生成二氧化碳,以气态进样方式将所生成的二氧化碳导入仪器进行检测的流动注射气体发生流路及装置.选择波长247.86 nm的谱线作为测定二氧化碳气体中碳含量的分析谱线.制作了碳浓度对相应的发射强度的校正曲线后,用Excel软件制作同一份试样溶液与不同量的浓度大约为0.01 mol·L-1盐酸溶液反应所释放的二氧化碳与相应的盐酸体积(mL)之间的曲线,并据此计算样品中碳酸盐及碳酸氢盐的含量.按此方法操作所得碳酸根和碳酸氢根的检出限(3s/b)依次为0.21 mg·L-1及0.82 mg·L-1.Abstract: The principle in acidimetric titration of mixture containing NaCO3 and NaHCO3 with double indicators was applied to the indirect determination of CO2-3 and HCO-3 in water solution by ICP-AES with gaseous sample introduction technique.A FI-manifold for generation of CO2 by reacting of sample solution with definite amount of dil.HCl solution,and introduction of the generated CO2 into the ICP-AES instrument by the carrier gas was designed and fabricated .The spectral line of 247.86 nm was chosen as analytical spectral line for measurement of emission intensity of carbon in CO2.Based on the calibration curve of concentration of carbon against the respective emission intensity,and on the curve of relationship between the concentration of carbon in CO2 generated from the sample solution and the different volumes of approx.0.01 mol·L-1 HCl added to react with the sample solution,contents of CO2-3 and HCO-3 in the sample were obtained by using the Excel software.Valus of detection limits (3s/b) found for CO2-3 and HCO-3 were 0.21 mg·L-1 and 0.82 mg·L-1 respectively.
