Abstract: A method for simultaneous determination of salidroside and tyrosol in health-care food of rhodiola by Ultra-HPLC was proposed.The sample was extracted with methanol,and separated on Acquity UPLCTM BEH column (2.1 mm×50 mm,1.7 μm),using mixed solution of phosphoric acid (0.05+99.5) and acetonitrile with different ratio as mobile phase in gradient elution.Photodiode array detection was made at the wavelength of 221.3 nm.Linear relationships between the peak areas and mass of salidroside and tyrosol were obtained in the range of 0.01-0.3 g·L-1.The proposed method was used in the analysis of root of rhodiola and capsule of rhodiola,values of recovery found by standard addition method were in the range of 90.67%-95.55% and 90.73%-96.52% respectively.
