Abstract: Methyl orange is an azo reagent widely used in analytical chemistry.The present situation and recent advances in domestic applications of the methyl orange to the analytical chemistry are reviewed,mainly focused on titrimetry,spectrophotometry and electrochemical analysis.100 references are cited.
