Abstract: A review on the recent progress of the determination method of europium was presented in this paper.Emphasis were made especially to the various kinds of methods used in the determination of this element,e.g.the spectrofluorimetry,the spectrophotometry,atomic emission spectrometry,atomic absorption spectrometry,X-ray fluorescence spectrometry,mass spectrometry,voltammetry and etc.A brief discussion on the trend of researches made in this field was also given (59 ref.cited).
