Abstract: Volatile essential oil of heteropappus altaicus novopokr was extracted from the sample by steam distillation,and chemical components in the extract were separated and identified by GC-MS.Fifty chemical components were found in the separation,among which 39 compounds were identified and their relative contents were determined by the method of normalization,amounting to 84.7% of the total.
