Abstract: A review on the recent advances,mainly in the period of last decade,of the determination of traces of selenium in bioligical samples was presented,including the application of fluorescence method,atomic absorption spectrometry,atomic fluorescence spectrometry,ICP-AES,spectrophotometry,gas chromatography,high performance liquid chromatography and etc.A discussion on the special features and the short-comings of these methods was also given (63 ref.cited).
