Abstract: ICP-MS was applied to the rapid determination of organotin in consumer goods such as toys,textiles,and food contact materials.Samples of consumer goods were extracted ultrasonically with methanol.Linear relationship between values of spectral intensity and mass concentration of tributyltin was kept in the range of 9.00-365 μg·L-1,with detection limit (3s) of 0.3 mg·kg-1.Values of recovery found by standard addition method were in the range of 84.2%-103%,and values of RSD′s (n=7) in the range of 2.8%-6.0%.
