Abstract: Anion exchange resin was used in the sample pretreatment to remove interfering ions present as impurities and also to eliminate effectively the matrix effect.Dionex IonPac AS9-HC column was used as separation column,with AG9-HC protective column.9 mmol·L-1 sodium carbonate solution was used as the mobile phase and the suppression conductivity detection was applied in the determination.Detection limits of chloride,nitrate and sulfate ions in the analysis of sulfolane samples were found to be 14,39 and 54 μg·L-1 respectively.Values of recovery found for these 3 anions were in the range of 104.2%-123.2%.
