Abstract: A review was given on the recent progress of fluorescence detection systems of microfluidic chip covering years from 1996-2010, relating especially to the principles, optical structures and application of fluorescence detection systems, including laser induced fluorescence (LIF) detection, light-emitting diode (LED) induced fluorescence detection and other fluorescence detections (60 ref. cited).
