Abstract: A review on the domestic and international standards of X ray fluorescence spectrometry (XRFS) analysis was presented. Most of these standards were used by American Society for Testing Materials (ASTM),International Organization for Standardization (ISO),and Chinese standard. These standards mainly were applied to the determination of elements in petroleum,its products,alloy,and ore (31 ref. cited).
