Abstract: Antioxidants in rhodiola were separated by solvent extraction.Antioxidation property of the Rhodiola extract for removal of nitrogen radical,singlet oxygen radical and OH free radical was detected with DPPH spectrophotometry,Photosensitive compound microbe method and phenanthroline-Fe(Ⅱ) photometry.Experimental results showed that Rhodiola has excellent antioxidation property and a prospective future of applications.Figures of merit of the detection methods were discussed.
