Abstract: A method of flame atomic absorption spectrometry for the determination of total chromium in marine sediment was described in this paper.Ammonium chloride was used as the sensitizer of the determination.Characteristic concentration (for 1% absorption) of the method was 0.045 mg·L-1 and detection limit was 0.030 mg·L-1.RSD of the measurement was in the range of 2.2%-5.8% and recovery in range of 86.4%-98.6%.
