    IrOx/Ti电极测定低温溶液的pH

    Determination of pH of Solutions at Low Temperatures with the IrOx/Ti Electrode

    • 摘要: 制备了IrOx/Ti电极,考察了温度变化对电极响应灵敏度、响应时间和电极电位的影响。结果表明:-20 ℃时该电极对乙醇防冻液的响应只比30 ℃时低2.52 mV·pH-1。据此提出了IrOx/Ti电极测定低温防冻液体系的pH的方法。电极用于-10 ℃氯化钠溶液的测定,相对极差为1.8%,相对平均偏差为0.6%。

       

      Abstract: IrOx/Ti electrode was prepared, and influences of change of temperatures to its sensitivity of response, time of response and its potential response were studied. It was found that the value of reponse of the electrode in an ethanol freezing-proof liquor at -20 ℃ was only 2.52 mV·pH-1 lower than the value obtained at 30 ℃. Based on this fact, this electrode was applied to the determination of pH values of freezing-proof liquor systems at low temperatures; and in the determination of pH values of NaCl solutions at -10 ℃, values of relative extreme difference and relative average deviation obtained were 1.8% and 0.6% respectively.
