Abstract: A review on the advance of researches on resonance light scattering spectrometric determination of protein with organic dyes was reviewed in this paper,covering mainly the years from 1990 to 2004.The basic principle of the role of organic dyes played in the reaction system of protein was expounded briefly.Organic dyes related in this review included the following categories,the triphenymethanes,the azo dyes,the phthalocyanines,the hydroxyanthraguinones and etc (58 ref.citd).
