Abstract: A review on the recent advances of researches on the harmfulness of artificial musk and methods of determination of its residual amount was presented. Pre-treatment methods and measurements of artificial musks in cosmetics,water,atmosphere,soil,and medicines were compared. A brief prospect on this field was also given (31 ref. cited).
