Abstract
A method based on mechanical exfoliation graphite modified electrode for detection of bisphenol A migrated from food contact materials was developed. The XRD characterization showed that oxygen-containing functional groups were not present in mechanical exfoliation graphite. Comparing with chemically reducted graphite, mechanical exfoliation graphite can lowered the oxidation over-potential and enhanced the electrochemical response of bisphenol A. Under the optimied experimental conditions, the oxidation peak current was proportional to the concentration of BPA in the range of 1.0×10-7-1.5×10-5mol·L-1,with the detection limit (3S/N) of 3.0×10-8mol·L-1. The electrode was used to detect the bisphenol A migrated from food stimulants, giving recovery rates measured by standard addition method in the range of 85.1%-104% and RSD (n=6) in the range of 2.7%-5.9%.
