Abstract
Samarium ferricyanide was deposited on the surface of GCE by electrochemical cyclic voltammetry (CV) to prepare the SmFe(CN)6 modified GCE.The electrocatalytic oxidation of guanine and adenine at the modified electrode was studied by CV.As compared with bare GCE,values of oxidation peak current of both guanine and adenine at the modified electrode were found to be increased while the oxidation peak potential to be decreased, showing that the modified electrode had good electrocatalytic activity toward the oxidation of guanine and adenine.Under optimum conditions, linear relationship was found between values of oxidation peak current and concentration of guanine and adenine in the same range of 5.0-70 μmol·L-1,with same detection limit (3S/N) of 1.0 μmol·L-1.
