    Determination of Elements in Potash Feldspar Ores by ICP-AES

    • The potash feldspar ore sample was melted under 950 ℃ with sodium carbonate and sodium tetraborate as fluxing agent.The melt was then dissolved in heated hydrochloric acid.ICP-AES was applied for qualitative and quantitative analysis of the elements in potash feldspar ores.The results showed that the potash feldspar ores contained at least 11 elements.Eight main elements,namely,K,A1,Si,Ca,Mg,Ti,Ba and Mn were determined,with RSD (n=4) in the range of 0.68%-4.5%.Recovery rates measured by standard addition method were in the range of 90.9%-109%.
