    Determination of Cu,Pb,Zn and Cd in Lead-Zinc Tailings Slag by ICP-MS

    • The lead-zinc tailings slag sample was directly dissolved by a mixture of nitric acid,hydrofluoric acid and perchloric acid,and the elements of Cu,Pb,Zn,Cd in the prepared solution were then determined by ICP-MS.5 μg·L-1 of rhodium solution was used for the internal standard,and 63Cu,66Zn,208Pb,114Cd were selected as measuring isotopes.The linearity range of the were within 200 μg·L-1 and that of Cd was 0.1 μg·L-1.The detection limits (3s) were 0.04,0.10,0.03,0.003 μg·g-1,respectively.RSD (n=11) were in the range of 0.39%-2.2%.The method was applied for analysis of standard substances,giving results in agreement with the certified values.
