CV-AFS Determination of Mercury in Urine

CV-AFS was applied to the determination of mercury in urine.The sample was treated with bromination agent,and the content of mercury was determined directly by CV-AFS.Linearity range of mercury was found between 0.15-10.0 μg·L-1,with detection limit (3s) of 0.15 μg·L-1.In analysis of quality control materials by this method,the results obtained were in consistency with the certified values,with RSD′s (n=6) in the range of 2.8%-3.8%.The proposed method was applied to the analysis of substantial urine samples,giving results in agreement with those obtained by CV-AAS.
