    Determination of Species and Relative Contents of Hydrothermal Alteration Minerals by Visible-Near Infared Spectroscopy

    • Visible-near infared spectroscopy was applied to the determination of species and relative contents of hydrothermal alteration minerals.Visible-near infrared absorption characteristics of hydrothermal alteration minerals were described.Samples of hydrothermal alteration minerals were analyzed by visible-near infared spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction.It was found that the species identification of hydrothermal alteration minerals obtained from visible-near infared spectroscopy was similar to those from X-ray diffraction.
