    GC Determination of Hexabromocyclododecane in Electronic and Electrical Materials Based on Carbon Skeleton

    • A method of GC for the determination of hexabromocyclododecane in electronic and electrical materials based on carbon skeleton was proposed.The sample was ultrasonically extracted with the mixture of dichloromethane-acetone (1+2) for 30 min,and then the solvent was displaced with n-hexane.Catalytic hydrogenation reaction with palladium was conducted on the catalytic liners.The analyte was separated on HP-5MS capillary column and detected by FID.Linear relationship between values of peak area and mass concentration of hexabromocyclododecane was obtained in the range of 1.25-80.0 mg·L-1,with detection limit (10S/N) of 10 mg·kg-1.Values of recovery found by standard addition method were in the range of 78.8%-106%,and values of RSD′s (n=8) in the range of 2.1%-5.6%.
