    Determination of Trace Arsenic(Ⅲ) by Flow Injection Chemiluminescence

    • A method of flow inject chemiluminesence was proposed for determination of trace arsenic(Ⅲ). The method was based on the reduction of ammonium persulfate by trivalent arsenic, resulting in decreased chemiluminescence intensity of the luminol and ammonium persulfate system. The linear range between the changes of the luminescence intensity and the mass concentration of As(Ⅲ) was 0.5-8.0 mg·L-1, with detection limit (3σ) 0.39 mg·L-1. The method was used to analyze water sample, giving recovery rates in the range of 84.0%-93.6%.
