    Determination of 6 Kinds of 4-Hydrobenzoic Acid Esters in Cleaning Supplies by GC-MS

    • A method of GC-MS was developed for measurement of 6 kinds of 4-hydrobenzoic acid esters in cleaning supplies. The sample was extracted with ethyl acetate, then separated on a HP-5MS capillary column, and detected by MS adopting EI-SIM. External standard method was used for quantification. The linearity range of the mass concentration of 6 kinds of 4-hydrobenzoic acid esters was 0.1-10.0 mg·L-1 with detection limits in the range of 0.1-0.8 mg·kg-1. The method was used for analysis of baby detergent samples, giving recovery rates measured by standard addition method in the range of 82.1%-107%, and RSD′s (n=6) in the range of 1.2%-4.1%.
