    Advances of Researches on Analytical Techniques for Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons in Soil and Sediment

    • A review on the recent advances of researches on analytical techniques used in the analysis of soil and sediment samples for their contents of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons was given in this paper, including various pretreatment methods (i.e., soxhlet extraction, ultrasonic extraction, accelerated solvent extraction, microwave assisted extraction, super critical fluid extraction, solid-phase extraction, solid phase microextraction, column chromatography and gel permeation chromatography) and analytical methods (i.e., GC-MS, HPLC and UHPLC). Prospects on the future trends in this field were also given (71 ref. cited).
