    GC Determination of 6 Sulfoethers in Motor Gasoline with Sulfur Chemiluminescence Detector

    • GC was applied to the determination of 6 sulfoethers in motor gasoline. The analytes were separated on DB-1 capillary chromatographic column (60 m×0.32 mm,0.50 μm) and detected by sulfur chemiluminescence detector. Linear relationships between values of peak area and mass concentration of the 6 sulfoethers were kept in the same range of 0.5-150 mg·L-1,with detection limits (3S/N) in the range of 0.03-0.26 mg·kg-1. The proposed method was applied to the analysis of samples of motor gasoline,giving values of recovery and RSD′s (n=7) in the ranges of 76.6%-120% and 0.50%-6.4%,respectively.
