    IC Determination of 6 Anions in Rubber and Plastic Thermal Insulation Materials

    • Ion chromatography was applied to the determination of 6 anions, i.e., F-, HCOO-, Cl-, CNO-, NO3- and SO42- in rubber and plastic thermal insulation materials. After broken to pieces, the samples were extracted with water at 90 ℃ for 24 hours in a shaking water bath. Then 6 target anions were separated by anion exchange chromatography with Na2CO3/NaHCO3 buffer solution as eluant and detected by electro-conductivity detector.The linear relationships were found between values of peak area and mass concentrations of the 6 anions in definite ranges, with detection limits (3S/N) in the range of 3.5-37.6 μg·L-1. Recovery found by standard addition method were in the range of 95.3%-106% and RSD′s (n=6) were all below 1.5%.
