    Simultaneous Rapid Determination of 18 Illegal Additives in Impotence Healthy Products by HPLC

    • HPLC was applied to simultaneous rapid determination of 18 additives in impotence healthy products. The 18 additives in samples were extracted ultrasonically with acetonitrile (1+1) solution. The extract solution were separated on an Agilent Poroshell 120 EC-C18 column (50 mm×4.6 mm, 2.7 μm) filled with particles of sub-3μm, with a mixture of phosphoric acid-triethylamine (pH 5.7) buffer solution, methanol and acetonitrile as mobile phase A, and a mixture of methanol and acetonitrile as mobile phase B for gradient elution. The analysts were detected with DAD detector at the wavelength of 230 nm. The detection limits and the lower limits of determination of the 18 additives were 1.0 mg·kg-1 and 3.0 mg·kg-1 respectively. The linearity ranges of 8 respective additives were 5.0-500 mg·L-1. Recovery rates obtained by standard addition method were in the range of 88.2%-103%, and RSDs (n=6) were in the range of 0.4%-1.6%.
