GC-MS Determination of 6 Kinds of Phthalates in Washing Supplies

A method of GC-MS was developed for the determination of 6 kinds of phthalates in washing supplies. The sample was extracted with ethyl acetate by ultrasonic for 5 min and then the extract solution was separated on a HP-5MS capillary chromatographic column. EI and SIM were adopted in MS. The linearity ranges of 6 kinds of phthalates were 1.0-20 mg·L-1 with detection limits (3S/N) less than 1.0 mg·kg-1. Recoveries obtained by standard addition method ranged from 85.6% to 113% with RSDs (n=6) in the range of 2.2%-5.8%.
