    HPLC-ICP-MS Rapid Determination of 4 Species of Arsenic in Imported Natural Gas with Pre-Installed Sampling System

    • HPLC-ICP-MS was applied to the rapid determination of 4 species of arsenic in imported natural gas with pre-installed sampling system. The sample was pretreated with absorption device of 10 mmol·L-1 sodium heptanesulfonate-10 mmol·L-1 citric acid solution (pH 4.3). Hypersil GOLD aQ chromatographic column was used as stationary phase, and the above mentioned mixed solution of pH 4.3 was used as mobile phase. ICP-MS was adopted in the determination. Linearity ranges of the 4 arsenic species were found in the same range of 0.20-5.00 μg·L-1, with detection limits (3S/N) in the range of 0.044-0.066 μg·L-1. Values of recovery found by standard addition method were in the range of 81.4%-97.4%, and values of RSD's (n=6) in the range of 3.2%-4.9%.
