    SPE-GC-MS Determination of 10 Odorous Materials in Water

    • The water sample was extracted on HLB solid phase extraction column, and then eluted with 2 mL of dichloromethane. The eluate was then separated by GC on HP-5MS capillary chromatographic column, and the analytes were determined by MS under the modes of full-scanning and selected ion monitoring. Linear relationships between values of peak area and mass concentration of the 10 odorous materials were kept in definite ranges. Detection limits (3S/N) found were ranged from 0.50 to 1.0 μg·L-1. On the base of blank sample, test for recovery was made by standard addition method, values of recovery found were in the range of 88.7%-113%, with RSD's (n=6) in the range of 2.0%-6.7%.
