Abstract
For testing the adaptability of the standard methods of GB/T 5009.82-2003, GB 5413.9-2010 (abbrev. as the GB method) and AOAC Offcial Method 2012.10 (abbrev. as the AOAC method) to the determination of fat-soluble vitamin A (VA) and vitamin E (VE) in infant formulary foodstuffs and adult nutritives, a comparative study on the GB method and AOAC method was made, A CRM of NIST SRM 1849a and 11 infant formulary foodstuffs and adult nutritives samples were chosen to be analyzed separately by the 2 methods. As shown by the experimental results, it was concluded that:① determination results of VA and VE in SRM 1849a found by the GB method and by the AOAC method were all in consistency with the certified values;② determination values of VE found by the GB method was shown to be apparently low due to unstability of VE;③ the AOAC method was found more favourable to be used in routine analysis due to its efficiency and easy operation.
