Abstract
The sample was planed and 0.300 0 g of the wood shavings (passing through 0.18 mm sieve) was treated by headspace solid phase microextraction (SPME) for 30 min in a water bath of 60℃, and the volatile organic compounds (VOCs) released from the sample were enriched with an micro-extractor of 75 μm CAR/PDMS. Using a self-made cryotrap device, the micro-extractor was inserted into the sampling inlet of GC, and desorbed for 3 min. The solution obtained was analyzed by GC-MS for its VOC contents. As shown by the results, a total of 95 VOCs were found, in samples of shaving board, medium density fiber board and plywood, including 27 benzenes, 11 aldehydes/ketones, 8 alkanes, 11 alcohols/esters and 38 terpenoids.
