Progress of Researches on Analysis of Petroleum Sulfonates Used in Enhaned Oil Recovery

Petroleum sulfonate is an important surfactant for oil displacement. A review on the progress of researches on the componental analysis, structural analysis and determination of relative molecular mass of petroleum sulfonates was given in this paper. And a comparative study on various analytical methods used was put forward. Problems encountered were discussed and future developments in this field were prospected (50 ref. cited).
