    LC Determination of 16 Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons in Sports Ground Materials with Accelerated Solvent Extraction

    • A method of LC for the determination of 16 polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in sports ground materials with accelerated solvent extraction was proposed. The optimized conditions of accelerated solvent extraction were as follows:1 extraction solvent was the mixture of acetone and n-hexane (1+1); 2 extraction temperature was 100℃; 3 static extraction time was 5 min; 4 two extraction cycles. Hypersil Green PAH chromatographic column was used for separation with mixtures of water and acetonitrile with different mixing ratios as mobile phase in the gradient elution. UV detector and fluorescence detector were used in the determination. Linear relationships between values of peak area and mass concentration of the 16 polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons were kept in the same range of 5.0-500.0 μg·L-1, with detection limits (3S/N) in the range of 0.04-1.67 μg·kg-1. On the base of blank sample, test for recovery was made by standard addition method; values of recovery found were in the range of 70.9%-117%, with RSDs (n=6) of determined values in the range of 1.5%-6.7%.
